When you cast this spell, you create a crack in the world, letting the will of a Great One smother a creature of your choice within range.
**CHA Saving Throw.** The direct contact with the eldritch being causes the target to take 8d6 Psychic damage, and it makes a CHA saving throw. On a failed save, the target is pulled in through the tear to the cosmos. On a successful save, the target gains a [[Madness|Long-Term Madness]], and the spell ends.
**Cosmos.** While in the cosmos, the target has the [[Incapacitated]] condition. At the start of each of its turns while there, the target takes 3d6 Cold damage plus 3d6 Psychic damage, and it must succeed on a DC 20 INT saving throw or gain a [[Madness|Short-Term Madness]].
If the target is still alive when the spell ends, it reappears in the space it left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. If the target is killed while in the void, its corpse never returns. A body that disappears in this way can never be recovered, not even with a [[Wish]] spell.
**Ends Early.** If your [[Concentration]] on the spell ends early, you must succeed on a DC 20 INT saving throw or gain a [[Madness|Long-Term Madness]] as the eldritch whispers revolt and assault your mind.
When the spell ends, roll a d100. On a 1, the breach doesn't close and instead only expands, threatening to absorb the entire world.
