# Stage 1 ## Gift of Joyous Life **Regain HP.** If you are [[Bloodied]] at the start of your turn, you can choose to roll a [[Hit Point Dice|Hit Point Die]] (no action required) and regain a number of [[HP]] equal to the roll. **Rolled a 1.** If you roll a 1 on the die, you regain no Hit Points and take 1 point of Force damage instead. **(1/SR).** You regain this ability when you finish a Short or Long Rest. <br> <br> ## Gift of Joyous Youth **Regain HP.** If you have no remaining [[Hit Point Dice]] at the start of your turn, you can take a [[Reaction]] to make a CHA Saving Throw against your Transformation DC. **Success.** On a success, you regain 1 expended [[Hit Point Dice|Hit Point Die]]. <br> <br> ## Gift of Prodigious Talent **Gain Proficiency or Expertise.** Choose two Skills. If you lack proficiency in it, you gain proficiency. If you have proficiency but lack Expertise, you gain [[Expertise]] with that skill. **Penalty.** If you roll a 1 or 2 on an Ability Check using one of the chosen skills, you immediately lose half your maximum number of [[Hit Point Dice]], rounded down. You do not regain [[Hit Point Dice]] lost this way until you finish two [[Long Rests]]. At Transformation Level 2 or higher, this penalty doesn't apply. <br> <br> ## Gift of Unsurpassed Fortune **Attack Roll / Saving Throw.** When an enemy you can see within 10 feet succeeds on an attack roll or saving throw, you can use your [[Reaction]] to roll a d20. **Success.** On a 10 or higher, the triggering attack or save misses or fails, and you regain the use of your [[Reaction]]. **Failure.** On a 9 or lower, if you are lower than Transformation Level 4, you take 1d6 Psychic damage per Transformation Stage, which cannot be reduced. **(1/LR).** You regain your use of this ability when you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> <br> <br> # Stage 2 ## Gift of Liberating Freedom **Wings.** As a [[Bonus Action]] while aren't wearing Heavy Armor, you can manifest a pair of leathery wings, if the Armor or clothing you are wearing accommodates them. You gain a [[Fly Speed]] equal to half your [[Speed]]. **Dismissal.** These wings recede if you dismiss them as a [[Bonus Action]], if you have the [[Unconscious]] condition, or if you become [[Bloodied]] while they are manifested. **Duration.** When you've manifested your wings for a total of 1 hour, you cannot do so again until you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> ### Transformation Level 2+ **Wings.** As a [[Bonus Action]] while aren't wearing Heavy Armor, you can manifest a pair of leathery wings, if the Armor or clothing you are wearing accommodates them. At Transformation Level 3 or higher, this penalty doesn't apply. <br> <br> <br> # Stage 3 ## Gift of Second Chances **Roll Hit Point Die.** When you are reduced to 0 [[HP]], you can use your [[Reaction]] to roll a [[Hit Point Dice|Hit Point Die]]. **Set HP.** If you roll a 2 or better, set your [[HP]] to the result of the roll. **Failure.** If not, you suffer a [[Death Saving Throw]] failure. **(1/LR).** You regain the use of this gift when you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> ### Transformation Level 3+ **Roll Hit Point Die.** When you are reduced to 0 [[HP]], you can use your [[Reaction]] to roll a [[Hit Point Dice|Hit Point Die]]. **Set HP.** You set your [[HP]] equal to the result of the roll. **(1/LR).** You regain the use of this gift when you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> <br> ## Gift of Unconditional Love **Failed Saving Throw.** When a creature you can see within 30 feet of you fails a Saving Throw, you can use your [[Reaction]] to gain [[Temporary HP]] equal to 1d10 plus your Transformation Stage. **Rolled a 1.** If you roll a 1 on the d10, you gain no [[Temporary HP]] and have the [[Prone]] condition. At Transformation Level 3 or higher, this penalty doesn't apply. **(1/SR).** You regain the use of this gift when you finish a [[Short Rest|Short]] or [[Long Rest]]. <br> <br> <br> # Stage 4 ## Gift of Martial Prowess **Missed Attack.** Once per turn, when you miss with a weapon attack or [[Unarmed Strike]], you can reroll the attack roll. If you have fewer than 3 [[Hit Point Dice]] available, you cannot use this gift. **Success.** If the reroll hits, you must expend 3 [[Hit Point Dice]] and add the result to the attack's normal damage as Force damage. **Failure.** If the reroll misses, you must expend 3 [[Hit Point Dice]] and take Psychic damage equal to the result. At Transformation Level 4 or higher, this penalty doesn't apply. **(1/LR).** Once you hit a target with an attack using a rerolled attack, you cannot use it again until you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> <br> ## Gift of Unbridled Power **Regain Spell Slots.** Upon finishing a [[Short Rest]], you can spend 2 [[Hit Point Dice]] and regain a number of spell slot levels equal to the highest number rolled. **Take Damage.** You take Psychic damage equal to twice the total that you rolled. **(1/LR).** You regain the reuse of this gift when you finish a [[Long Rest]]. <br> ### Transformation Level 4 **Regain Spell Slots.** Upon finishing a [[Short Rest]], you can spend 1 [[Hit Point Dice|Hit Point Die]] and regain a number of spell slot levels equal to the number rolled. **Take Damage.** You take Psychic damage equal to the roll. **(1/LR).** You regain the reuse of this gift when you finish a [[Long Rest]].
