INT, WIS, or CHA is your spellcasting ability for this spell (choose when you select this feat). You can cast it once without a spell slot or [[Spell Components|Material]] components, and you regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a [[Long Rest]]. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have. **Fortified Familiar.** When you cast the [[Find Familiar]] spell, your familiar's [[HP]] maximum and current [[HP]] are increased by an amount equal to twice your character level. **Helpful Friend.** When you make an ability check using a skill in which you have [[Proficiency|proficiency]] while your familiar is within 5 feet of you, you gain [[Advantage]] on the check. You can use this benefit a number of times equal to your [[Proficiency Bonus Table|Proficiency Bonus]], and you regain all expended uses when you finish a [[Long Rest]].
