# Overview **Class Requirement.** This item requires Attunement by a Druid or World Tree Barbarian **Attunement.** To attune to the heart, you must push the heart against your chest. The heart enters your chest and replaces your heart, and remains there until you die. If the heart is ever removed, you die. # Properties **Random Properties.** The Briarheart has the following random properties: - [[Artifact Properties Tables|2 Minor Beneficial Properties]] - [[Artifact Properties Tables|1 Major Beneficial Property]] <br> # Effects ## World Tree Fruit **Create Fruit.** As a [[Bonus Action]], you can expend two Hit Die to cause a fruit to sprout from your body. You can produce a number of fruit equal to your Proficiency Bonus per [[Long Rest]]. **Consume Fruit.** As part of the same [[Bonus Action]], or with a subsequent [[Bonus Action]], you or another creature within 5 feet of you can pluck the fruit from your branches and consume or feed it to another creature within 5 feet. The creature that consumes the fruit gains the following benefits: - **Cleanse Body.** End all of the following conditions: [[Blinded]], [[Deafened]], [[Incapacitated]], [[Paralyzed]], [[Poisoned]] or [[Stunned]]. - **Fruit of Life.** Regain HP equal to 2 rolls of your Hit Die + your CON Modifier. - **Restoration.** Remove one of the following effects: - 1 [[Exhaustion]] Level - Any reduction to one of the target's ability scores - Any reduction to the target's HP Maximum <br> ## Tree Avatar As a [[Bonus Action]] or as part of expending your Wild Shape or going into Rage, you can become a Tree Avatar for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits for the duration: - **Reach.** Your Reach increases by 5 feet. - **Size.** You can grow up to Huge. - **Regeneration.** You regain 1d6 [[HP]] at the start of each of your turns if you have at least 1 [[HP]]. If you take Fire or Necrotic damage, this trait doesn't function on your next turn. - **Gnash.** As a [[Bonus Action]], one creature [[Grappled]] by you must make a DEX Saving Throw against your spell save DC (Druid) or Strength Save DC (Barbarian). - On a failure, the target takes (3d6) Piercing damage and having the [[Restrained]] condition until the [[Grappled|Grapple]] ends. - Additionally, you regain [[HP]] equal to the Piercing damage dealt.
